Tackles out vs Pack, Hasslebeck’s Status Uncertain

Hasslebeck

A couple of Seahakws will not only be not playing on Saturday night vs the Packers, they won’t eve be making the trip with the team. Those players include tackles Walter Jones and Sean Locklear. Jones continues to have soreness in his left shoulder, which he had surgery on. He has missed practices here and there, but has also been on the field to put the fans minds at ease that he might not be ready to go for the teams opener on September 9th.

As for Locklear, he is out indefinitely with tendinitis in his right knee. Taking their places on the line will be Ray Willis and Tom Ashworth. As for quarterback Matt Hasslebeck, he does not know how much he is going to play, and that’s the same for head coach Mike Holmgren. “I don’t know what I’m going to do with Matt yet,” Holmgren said Thursday’s practice. “I have to have a heart-to-heart session with Matt.” Hasslebeck of course wants to give it a full go. “I would love to play as much as they put me in there, and if they don’t, they don’t,” the QB said.
