Seahawks and 7th Round Pick Vallos Agree to Terms
Posted by Matt Loede on July 13th, 2007 filed in NewsThe Hawks have come to terms on a four-year deal with their seventh-round draft choice, Wake Forest offensive linemen Steve Vallos. The Seattle Times reports that the two sides agreed to the deal on Thursday. The signing of Vallos makes that five of eight choices to come to terms before the start of training camp in just under two weeks. The team already has signed sixth-round picks Courtney Taylor and Jordan Kent, linebacker Will Herring (fifth round) and offensive lineman Mansfield Wrotto (fourth round). Vallos played guard, tackle, and can even play center, making him a solid fit for the team as long as he can make the roster.
